Whilst primary education is relatively accessible in Uganda, the means for secondary school are difficult to come by. The area is deprived of sustainable secondary education for low-income families, and it is still recovering from the impact of the Lord’s Resistance Army, where there are high levels of subsistence living. Funds raised from the charity bike ride event will support the second phase of the build which will provide dormitories for the female students – allowing them to be on the secure site and to provide them with a shower block, allowing much needed privacy and improved sanitation.

How can you help? As a team we have an ambitious fundraising target of £10,000 and we very much appreciate any support that our B&PS colleagues can give us. All participants are covering the event costs themselves to ensure that all funds raised go towards building a better future for the children of Keframa High School.

Please donate to one of the links above to support this ambitious and important cause. Everyone’s individual pages all link up to an overall team page which has the all-important £10,000 target.
